Is there an inconsistency in Bob Heironimus' story?

This is a Google Earth map of the area showing, in the top placemarker, the Patterson/Gimlin Movie Film Site; the second placemark is Weitchpec, and the third is Willow Creek. Now, Bob Heironimus claimed on the Jeff Rense show (and in Greg Long's book The Making of Bigfoot) that he met Patterson and Gimlin at Willow Creek. He also said that the place he parked his car at near Willow Creek was about five miles from the film site. More recently, however, he has taken to saying that he met the two in Weitchpec, which is actually halfway between Willow Creek and the film site. Now, anyone can see in the above photo that Willow Creek is at least 50 miles from the film site, and Weitchpec is at least 25-30 miles from it, which would make Heironimus' story impossible if he allegedly met P & G near either Willow Creek or Weitchpec and went five miles to the film site. So, his story doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, and there seems to be a hole in his story, one of many.
