Interesting Conversation I overheard at the Ohio Conference which could change the whole scope of the P/G Movie
Following on the heels of M.K. Davis' tremendous presentation on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie at the 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference, I overheard an interesting conversation between a group of researchers who told a most interesting story which surrounds the circumstances of the film. Disclaimer: this is all theory and conjecture, and not absolute proof or truth and is only rumor and hearsay at this point. One gentleman said he had heard a rumor that Patterson and Gimlin were not the only ones on the sandbar that day (and no, I am not talking about Heironimus); it is speculated that two researchers were also in the area that day, and that either they or some loggers were on the sandbar with rifles taking potshots at "Patty" while Patterson and Gimlin were there. Patterson allegedly jumped into the hole with the pool of blood in it to avoid being shot. Allegedly, there was a massacre of "Patty's" family and that the bodies were down in the excavated pit which was seen in M.K.'s presentation. This is why during the presentation the supposed hernia on the leg of "Patty" was speculated to be a bullethole by some in the audience (M.K. did not say what he thought it was). Now remember, all of this is SPECULATION, RUMOR and HEARSAY only. This is NOT established as fact. Until further confirmation is made of all this, this will remain rumor and undetermined.
